The Old Fool

A few years ago, I was forced to close my flower shop in the Netherlands after the corona pandemic. After the closure it was a great loss. I really enjoyed running the flower shop for 4 years. It was special and great fun.

Now that we live in Sweden and enjoy the peace, space and the people around us, I want to bring back all that color with a view to sustainability.

That’s how The Old Foolcame into being. An ode to old stuff with a quirky and colorful twist.

Working with my hands is perfect for me, I always look around me and feel the creativity flowing. I love turning something old into something new and giving it a longer and sustainable life. The lushness of natural materials combined with silk flowers and drying materials give my handmade pieces a loving twist.

I can look at your wishes and ideas together with you. Your home, office, or other workplace deserves a colorful place where you can be yourself. The seasons make every part of the year shine. I like to bring this back into my craft.
